I began my career as an insurance agent in December of 2014 after a good, decades long run as an Information Technology (IT) engineer.  I lasted about 10 months with New York Life when an acquaintance educated me on becoming an independent agent.  We became a pretty good team doing life & health; property & casualty; and then I got interested in Medicare in the summer of 2017.  I truly found my passion in helping seniors and those younger make sense of and enroll in affordable healthcare plans.

My company, VyKare llc, formally started in February of 2020.  During the slow down of new business during the pandemic, I took the opportunity to figure out what I wanted to do with the rest of my "productive" years, whether I should just be satisfied with Medicare (and individual / family) related health related insurance needs, or expand into something more, appealing to a larger audience. 

So, I decided on the latter and just want to say, it was the right move and you will definitely be able to benefit from it.
